Dabinett Yurt

Our three-night stay in the beautiful yurt ("Dabinett") in the apple orchard was magical. The working farm provided a peaceful retreat with lots to see and do. The yurt itself was stunning—spacious, spotless, and thoughtfully designed with both comfort and rustic charm in mind. The cozy bed, soft lighting, and wood-burning stove made it feel warm and inviting, especially during the cool Autumn nights. We picked a few apples straight from the trees, and enjoyed feeding them to the pigs. At night, we lit the fire pit and BBQ and enjoyed dinner from the local butcher. Our hosts were incredibly welcoming and attentive, providing helpful information about local waking trails and local sights. We walked from Washford to Watchett along the railway line, and then took the bus back. A highly recommended, comfortable, enjoyable glamping experience!

Lovely stay, great Yurt. Attention to detail was fab, and the woodwork made it all the more special. Great hosts very welcoming and accommodating. Highly recommended and will be back.

The Yurt was lovely, great onsite facilities. The park and cafe was great. My children particularly enjoyed the hidden gems around the Apple orchards. Lovely clean bathrooms

We hebben met ons gezin een heerlijke tijd gehad op de cider farm. Het is een prachtige plek tussen de appelboomgaard en ligt in een hele mooie rustige omgeving. Op de boerderij zijn ook hele schattige dieren en varkentjes aanwezig, die wilde we wel mee naar huis nemen. De White horse inn is een leuke plek om een hapje te eten. Echt een leuke Engelse Pub. Ook Exmoor park heeft ons verrast. Met kinderen is de Tarr Steps is een aanrader en de Lynton en de Valley of the Rocks is ook een prachtig plaatsje en leuk uitstapje. Kortom prachtige en leuke plek als je ook van rust en natuur houdt.

We had a wonderful, peaceful stay at Torre, with excellent communication throughout. Our children loved feeding the animals and having the whole playground to themselves - what a treat. We enjoyed the unique yurt with its bespoke wooden features, hidden in the orchard.

Had the best 2 days in beautiful surroundings. Very private and sooo quiet. Felt like we were living in an orchard. Pub 5 mins walk down the lane. Good food and beer. Really friendly. Blissful start to the summer holidays. Thank you

A lovely stay! Looks better than the pictures and was super cozy. Never been in an AirBnB where the hosts were so thoughtful. Everything you can imagine you ever needed was provided. The views, the farm, the orchard, even the cafe onsite was brilliant. Loved the little touches like blankets, marshmallows, hot water bottles. The private toilet and shower was super clean and very close by. No complaints whatsoever.

We stayed in the Dabinett Yurt for my partner’s birthday with our two children (6yrs and 18 months). We had an amazing time - the hosts were so friendly and helpful, and the Yurt itself was beautiful. The positioning of the yurt made it feel like we had our own private orchard. The beds were comfortable and clean, and it was great to have a kitchen, wash basin etc. The private toilet and shower were a great touch, too. We only wished we had gotten there earlier on the Friday (driving from Bristol after the school run meant we didn’t arrive until late). Our daughters loved feeding the animals - they were all so tame and friendly - especially the sheep and the cat! We would definitely recommend to other families, and we hope to return soon! We had a wonderful stay here with our two young children. The yurt was beautifully made and laid out, with everything we needed to rest well and cook easily. The hosts have thought of so many lovely touches - extra blankets, hot water bottles, a hammock we could put up, even marshmallows for the fire pit! - and things were set out to a high standard. The surroundings on the farm were just right for our two little boys, with paces to play and explore, and the hosts has provided lots of useful local information that made it easy for us to explore. It has It was just perfect for us, and we'd definitely come again.
