For the ultimate Somerset experience come and stay in our award winning Dabinett yurt, nestled within the trees of our secluded 6 ½ acre cider orchard, on the edge of the beautiful Exmoor National Park.
Dabinett has an hand crafted, bespoke bed and is heated by way of a lovely wood burner with main electric throughout.
Outside has a hand crafted covered kitchen/dinning area and a BBQ and fire pit area, making it the perfect get away, whatever the weather!
Dabinett Yurt has been beautifully hand crafted in the UK by Millie's Yurts of Dorset and is set in the middle of our beautiful orchard. It sleeps 2 in a bespoke double bed and has two single floor mattresses available.
There are electricity sockets and lighting. Dedicated toilet and shower can be found in the nearby utilities block, just a few steps away. The interior has been decked out to a high standard, using aged cedar and repurposed apple wood, which has been hand carved by our friends and local artists Karina and Rob Heard MBE.
You will find a Cornish made log burner to ensure the tent is cosy on colder days.
Externally Dabinett has a covered outside patio area with a fully equipped compact kitchen, with a mini fridge, single electric hob and all cooking and eating utensils, and a covered dining area for you to sit out on and watch the abundant wildlife that calls our orchard home. Here you will find a Webber master touch BBQ for all your outdoor cooking needs. There is also a designated seating area and firepit, perfect for toasting marshmallows whilst you enjoy the incredibly dark skies offered by the protected Exmoor Dark Skies reserve, one of the darkest places in the country. You will find some books on astronomy inside the tent to help you identify what you are looking at.
The glamping units are situated on the far side of the site, and are well separated from our house and the working farm areas. There is a communal utilities block with outdoor sinks and where you will find your allocated toilet and shower solely for your use.
The children will love to explore the orchard and we have a specially designed trail to delight them. Inside the tent you will find a small selection of games, books and puzzles for you to enjoy as a family.
Torre Cider Farm is an award-winning small scale cider producer. You can pre order Torre Cider's own cider and apple juice, pressed on site from our apples, and other goodies via our website to be ready for when you arrive or you can purchase from us while here.
There is a children's playground and a few very friendly farm animals to pet. We have plenty of local walks you’ll want to take once you see what the countryside has to offer, just ask for more information.
You are also very welcome to bring the doggy members of your family to Torre Cider Farm although we do ask that they be kept on a lead when other doggies are around and are never left unattended in the tent.
Please be aware we are a quiet campsite and ask for no loud music please and quiet after 10pm to ensure all guests enjoy their stay.

We had a fab stay. The yurt and kitchen area had everything we needed, including hot water bottles and plenty of blankets! Hosts were very responsive and dealt with any issues very quickly. The surrounding were beautiful and felt very private despite there being other people glamping in the orchard.
We had a lovely weekend at Gemma's, who is very friendly and welcoming. The yurt was very cosy and we enjoyed all the little touches such as lots of blankets and hot water bottles for the chilly evenings. We loved how private it felt, with the outdoor area of our yurt opening up onto the beautiful orchard and no views of the other yurts. Our daughter loved going to see he animals and playing in the little playground area, as well as wandering around and discovering all the quirky elements hidden in the orchard.
Great stay at Torre cider farm glamping site. I would recommend and happy to return again.
A wonderful stay. Fabulous hosts. Nothing was too much trouble. Would strongly recommend!
We had an amazing stay at Torre Cider farm. The setting amongst the orchards was beautiful and peaceful. The bed was really comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. The kids loved seeing the farm animals close by and enjoyed the activities when the shop opened. We all enjoyed a fry up at the restaurant on our check out day. A really amazing place. We will definitely be back.
perfect family weekend away from all the noise of city life.
I cant say enough good things about our stay, the setting was wonderful, the amenities were excellent, lots for the kids to do, play in the orchard, play park see the various animals dotted about the place. Just fantastic.
We stayed at the cider farm for 3 nights, we were really impressed with the yurt and how comfortable it was, the facilities were spotless and the orchard is stunning. The farm was lovely to walk around also. We spoke to a few locals on our travels and everyone was so friendly, the pub down the road, the white horse, was lovely. Highly recommended and can’t wait to return. 🫶🏻
My family and I stayed at the Torre Cider Yurts this weekend and we didn't want to leave! From the peaceful, beautiful scenery to the delicious home-cooked breakfasts, we honestly couldn't have asked for more! We already know that we will be returning one day! The hosts were fantastic and very helpful and the location was superb! There is nothing better than waking up in a cosy, log-fired yurt with beautiful blue skies and a cup of tea, it really was idyllic. Thank you so much!!
