For the ultimate Somerset experience come and stay in our award winning Yarlington yurt, nestled within the trees of our secluded 6 ½ acre cider orchard, on the edge of the beautiful Exmoor National Park.
Yarlington is heated by way of a lovely wood burner with main electric throughout.
Outside has a hand crafted , covered kitchen/dinning area and a BBQ and fire pit area, making it the perfect get away, whatever the weather!
Yarlington Yurt is our more secluded tent set back in the apple trees than the others making it perfect for a romantic getaway.
Yarlington has been beautifully hand crafted in the UK by Millie's Yurts of Dorset and is set in the middle of our beautiful orchard. It sleeps 2 in a bespoke double bed and has two single floor mattresses available.
There are electricity sockets and lighting. The interior has been decked out to a high standard, using aged cedar and repurposed apple wood, which has been hand carved by our friends and local artists Karina and Rob Heard MBE.
You will find a Cornish made log burner to ensure the tent is cosy on colder days.
Outside Yarlington has a covered outside patio area with a fully equipped compact kitchen, with a single electric hob and all cooking and eating utensils with a dining area for you to sit out on and watch the abundant wildlife that calls our orchard home. Here you will find a Webber master touch BBQ for all your outdoor cooking needs. There is also a designated seating area and firepit, perfect for toasting marshmallows whilst you enjoy the incredibly dark skies offered by the protected Exmoor Dark Skies reserve, one of the darkest places in the country. You will find some books on astronomy inside the tent to help you identify what you are looking at.
The glamping units are situated on the far side of the site, and are well separated from our house and the working farm areas. There is a communal utilities block with outdoor sinks and where you will find your allocated toilet and shower solely for your use no more than 20 meters away.
The children will love to explore the orchard and we have a specially designed trail to delight them. Inside the tent you will find a small selection of games, books and puzzles for you to enjoy as a family.
Torre Cider Farm is an award-winning small scale cider producer. You can pre order Torre Cider's own cider and apple juice, pressed on site from our apples, and other goodies via our website to be ready for when you arrive or you can purchase from us while here.
There is a children's playground and a few very friendly farm animals to pet. We have plenty of local walks you’ll want to take once you see what the countryside has to offer, just ask for more information.
You are also very welcome to bring the doggy members of your family to Torre Cider Farm although we do ask that they be kept on a lead when other doggies are around and are never left unattended in the tent.
Please be aware we are a quiet campsite and ask for no loud music please and quiet after 10pm to ensure all guests enjoy their stay.

We really loved our time in Torre Cider Farm. The farm is beautiful and the yurt was greatly located inside the trees. It was very peaceful. The yurt and kitchen was as clean as we expect it to be (for a glamping experience with outside kitchen), the bed was very confy. The farm has a few farm animals and a play area, which our son loved. Guests are welcome to walk around the farm. Great for families with children. There is a good pub around 500m from the farm, serves good good. The farm also has a cafe, but unfortunately we werent able to try the pizzas and the ciders as it was closed on Sunday for a great event in town (wheelbarrow race). But we'll definitely come back to try it. 👌 Just a minor note, the yurts have covers for the side "windows", it would be great to provide one for the top one. As we had children, we had to "covered it" with a picnic blanket otherwise it gets bright very early in the morning.
We had a lovely time! The space was brilliant for the kids - who especially loved playing on the hammock! We had everything we needed and Gemma was always responsive when we had any questions. Thanks for a great stay!
The Yarlington Yurt at Torre Cider Co' was comfortable, cosy, and clean. The rain was torrential when we arrived and overnight, but we were warm and dry in the yurt. The yurt is beautifully furnished with a chair, some stools and bean bags so you could chill inside if you wanted to. Lovely under cover kitchen and deck area, which was great to enjoy a morning coffee on. The bathroom was warm, squeaky clean, and with a proper shower and hot water.
It’s a great place to stay. We’ll happily return again.
We stayed in the Yarlington yurt which was absolutely wonderful, almost like something from a fairytale. We were given excellent instructions on how to get to and access the property and facilities and it was very well appointed. The only disappointments were well beyond the control of the owners in that the weather was terrible, so we were unable to make the best of the available facilities in the fire pit and barbeque. One other point of note is that if you are planning to eat at the local pub, do make a booking. They were unable to accommodate us as they were fully booked and were also asked to drink outside despite being half empty. I would heartily recommend staying at Torre Cider Farm and would love to go back in better weather.
We had a lovely stay at Torre Cider Farm. Great location near Exmoor, the coast and Quantock Hills. The hosts communicated well in advace and quick to respond when needed. Facilities were clean, location private, and great to enjoy the cider made on site!
We loved our stay, our Yurt was secluded yet a minutes walk to all amenities. Staff and Hosts were friendly and the food was great! We will be going back for sure 👌🏽
What a fabulous place to stay for true nature lovers! Great facilities, the Outside kitchen was excellent and all you needed for a stay was included. Owners thought of everything. Cannot fault the amenities available. Being a true townie and glamping for the first time, I was surprised to have everything available. A little road noise was not expected but couldn’t be helped. Overall a great stay for anyone used to the outdoors and all it has to offer.
Perfect stay - amenities were great, location was brilliant for exploring the local area and staff were super helpful. Will definitely be back
Loved our third stay here, great setting and location!
