Helios Villa - Borrego Springs, CA

Derek’s place was clean, quiet, and comfortable. The condo is centrally located in Borrego Springs with easy access to all the sites we wanted to look at during our stay in the desert. Our 5 year old particularly loved the pool. I loved that we can see the stars and beautiful sunsets. Kitchen was well stocked with cookware, pans, coffee, utensils, spices. We would stay here again!

Derek was a great host. The area is great with Mountain View’s and a community pool. These are older condos and seemingly quiet community. The condo itself has areas that need work. I noticed the listing had an icon indicating 3 queen beds in total with one being an air mattress but there is one queen bed in the bedroom and a queen air mattress in the living room. I want to mention this so someone else doesn’t get confused as I did and or the icon can be corrected to reflect the accurate bed count.

This is a very condo. Quiet, clean, nice pool. Derek really helped us out of a jam and was very easy to work with.

This is a great spot out in the desert. Borrego Springs is a fun place to visit. It was cold and rainy while I was there, so I didn't get to try out the pool, but the fireplace made it very cozy inside. This was a perfect spot to hide out for a few days and get away from the city. Derek was quick to communicate when any problems arose. Great visit.

Derek was a great host. He was very responsive from the initial booking to the time we checked out. We really appreciated the local recommendations and loved how quite the location was. It's the perfect size for a couple or a family as the second bed is an air mattress. The main bed is really comfortable (we didn't need the second bed) and the unit is located right next to the pool entrance. The kitchen is small, but it is a full kitchen and we used just about everything as we cooked most of our meals here, and we appreciated having nearly everything we needed on hand. Its a great location to enjoy Borrego Spring's dark skys!

We had a great stay at Vista Estrellas. Very quiet and restful. The apartment had everything we needed. The pool was just a few steps away. And the apartment lived up to its name— you can really see the stars at night. Derek was an excellent host and was very responsive to our questions. I’d be happy to go back again.

The location was quiet and not too far from town. When problems arose, Derek responsed quickly and tried to find solutions.
