I stayed there for 3 weeks. The White Beach is 12-15min walking from the hostel, just follow the sign Angol Beach from the main road. You don't need to take a treecycle as previous guests reviewed. This part of the beach is the least crowded. You can snorkeling right on the beach, there are corals and beautiful fish, no need to ride anywhere. You don't even need a mask when it is low tights. Wifi was working, no problems. The rooftop with the kitchenette was pretty nice
