I loved having my private space in the dorm, it felt very comfortable in my little nest! You also had a locker (bring your own key). The lady who did the check in and check out was lovely and offered me coffee on arrival and the next day. The kitchen had appliances to cook a simple meal, as well as a microwave. It's an easy 30 minutes walk to the Salitre Terminal, in an area that felt quite safe. You can also take the metrobus to go to the city centre.
