Mwendokasi: Double room 2nd floor with private balcony, seaview

Wonderful, charming and peaceful stay in Jambiani We stayed 2 nights at Meliks Hotel in Jambiani and had a lovely experience. The hotel is right on the beach, very small with only a few rooms, which makes it extremely calm, intimate and charming — perfect if you are looking for peace and relaxation. The staff is absolutely wonderful. Alex and Issaia were especially kind, always smiling, attentive and ready to help with anything we needed. You truly feel taken care of. We had a double room with sea view, which was absolutely beautiful. There is no air conditioning, but honestly the fan was more than enough and we slept very well. The bathroom is open to the outside, without a window or door. This did not bother us at all as it is elevated and not directly overlooked, which actually adds to the charm. However, the shower and toilet are in the same space without a separate shower area, so when one person is showering, the toilet cannot be used. This was the only small downside of our stay. Breakfast was simple but good and efficient, and the Wi-Fi worked well in the room, which was a nice surprise. Overall, Meliks Hotel is a beautiful, peaceful and authentic place, perfect for a relaxing stay by the sea. We would definitely recommend it.
