Positives: Good place but very noisy outside, full of smokers and builders Had a smart tv Close to town Clean towels Shower was great, warm water and spacious Very Kind and respectful host, easy to talk to Negatives: (I don’t like to complain but this is very necessary to have if you are charging such a price and for other travellers) A lack of soap in toilets. Had to use dish cleaning liquid in kitchen No tea bags or sugar or basic bed and “breakfast” facilities Unsure whether the basic shower toiletries were provided by host or belonging to students living there Very high Price for a small town; would be more appropriate if facilities were provided and highlighted if they are for the guest or belong to the students Be sure to bring the basics - tea bags, milk and toiletries when you come to make it a bed and “breakfast”
Estuvimos dos noches en este alojamiento y todo fue como esperábamos excepto una cosa, había un olor en nuestra habitación muy desagradable. Este olor no estaba en otras zonas de la casa ni espacios comunes. Dejé la ventana varias horas abierta pero no dejaba de oler fatal. Además, había una ducha que no tenía apenas presión (la del baño verde), pero no fue un problema porque pudimos usar la del baño rosa. Tuvimos la mala suerte de que nuestra habitación estaba al lado de la puerta principal y se escuchaban los golpes cuando otros huéspedes entraban y salían, pero pasamos poco tiempo en el alojamiento y no fue del todo molesto. El resto de cosas han estado bien, las zonas comunes están cuidadas, hay dos baños, el acceso a la habitación es muy fácil y, cuando entras (a excepción del olor), da la sensación de que la habitación está limpia y cuidada.
I stayed for 1 night and was really happy with the location of the apartment. It is a very short walk to the middle of town and right across the road from a supermarket. The room had a heater, power outlets next to the bed, a tv and everything I needed for a comfortable stay. I felt safe and comfortable as a solo female traveler. Thank you for having me Fran!
